ChronoBit — Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how ChronoBit collects, uses, stores and discloses information when you use the App. ChronoBit is designed to keep your time-tracking and planning data local to your device. Please read this Policy carefully.

2. Information we collect

• Data you provide: Activities, week plans, time logs, settings, and other content you enter into the App.
• Device data: Technical details required for the App to run (app version, OS version) — collected only if necessary for debugging and only with your consent (if applicable).

All primary user-generated content used for planning and logging is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

3. How we use information

• To provide the core functionality of the App: building and saving week plans, logging time, calculating statistics and reminders.
• To process subscription purchases through the app store.
• To send push notifications if you granted permission.

4. Data storage & retention

All user-entered data is stored in the App's local database on your device. We do not retain a copy of your personal data on external servers. If you delete the App or clear app data, local data may be lost unless you exported it or use a device backup.

5. Sharing and third parties

ChronoBit does not sell or rent your personal data. Because ChronoBit does not transmit user data to our servers, we only share data in the following limited cases:

• App store and payment processors: For in-app purchases, billing information is handled by the app store (Apple/Google). We do not receive your payment details.
• Optional exports: If you export or share data (for example via a CSV export or share sheet), that exported content can be handled by the receiving service (email, cloud storage) and is not controlled by ChronoBit.

6. Push notifications

If you enable push notifications, ChronoBit will use them to remind you to plan, log time, or notify you when a plan is expiring. Notification settings are controlled on your device.

7. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect data stored by the App on your device. However, because data is stored locally, the security of that data depends in part on your device security (passcode, biometrics, disk encryption). We cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International users

If you are located outside Serbia, please be aware that your data remains on your device; the legal rights that apply to data subjects may vary by jurisdiction.

9. Children

ChronoBit is not intended for children under the minimum legal age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the applicable minimum age.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. When changes are made we will update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Policy.

11. Your rights

Because data is stored locally, you can control it by editing, exporting or deleting data in the App or by uninstalling the App. If you need assistance deleting data or have privacy questions, contact: vladimirjvucetic@gmail.com.
